nanoMR has developed a proprietary detection technology based on miniaturized nuclear magnetic resonance. Target entities are labeled by attaching magnetic beads or nano-particles using well established antibody techniques. These magnetic labels provide profound detection sensitivity when passed through a proprietary compact NMR detector. The system includes a detection device and disposable cartridges and is compact, inexpensive, quantitative, and capable of detecting a wide variety of clinically pertinent targets. The detected target can be non-destructively isolated for further study as needed.

nanoMR's technology can be applied to a variety of samples, such as surface swabs, blood, or urine samples, and a variety of targets, including molecular species, bacteria, eukaryote cells, such as fetal cells for amniocentesis, or cancer cells.
